The accommodation is only let as a whole, whether it is for 1 person or for 6, with a minimum stay of 2 days.
If the occupancy agreed upon on reservation is not respected, the rental contract will be automatically terminated and access to the accommodation will be refused without any reimbursement or any other form of compensation.
On the ground floor, there is a large shower room with 2 spacious walk-in showers. One for bedroom Lommer and one for bedroom Lover.
There is an additional toilet and a separate washbasin.
Next to the shower room, there is a separate storage area with an iron and ironing board, rack for drying clothes and a supply of garbage bags.
There is no washing machine, but it is possible to have an occasional load of washing done.
Also on the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a large worktop, electric stove, extractor hood, oven and microwave. In addition, there is a fridge freezer, a small dishwasher and kitchen towels, kitchen roll and all kinds of items for cleaning (dishcloths, scouring sponges and washing-up liquid) are provided.
All the kitchen and tableware needed to cook meals and prepare a delicious breakfast for 6 people is available (pots, pans, dinnerware, cutlery, mixer, coffeemaker, electric kettle and toaster, etc.).
WIFI.
The barn can be reached via the kitchen or the shower room on the ground floor.
The barn, made entirely from hemp bricks and mud, boasts a pleasant lounge. The 2 old entrance gates have now become large windows offering views of the Catsberg (FR) and the garden to the north.
There are 3 large and 2 smaller seats, a table and 6 chairs, a bookcase full of books for young and old and a worktop with sink to make coffee (Senseo) or tea (electric kettle). The fridge can be used for drinks and snacks.
The barn is heated using an economical, silent Rika pellet stove that is controlled with a thermostat, so you can relax and not worry about adjusting the heating. If you would like the heating turned up, we can tailor the programme to your needs.
WIFI.
Weather-permitting there are 4 sunny patios on and around the accommodation that each have a table and chairs.
There are 3 small seating areas spread throughout the garden. At the pond with decking, there is a large patio with lovely wooden loungers and WIFI.
And there is no way to miss the abundance of dragonflies, frogs and plants.
There is a moveable barbecue. Kindling is available but you must bring your own charcoal.
The large garden with the adjacent apple orchard, entirely surrounded by various hedges, can be freely accessed.
Children can safely play there to their hearts’ content.
Only the vegetable garden, greenhouse, berry garden and accompanying reed bed are private and out of bounds.
There is a carport with enough room to store 1 car and several bicycles.
There are also charging points for a car and bicycles there.
In addition, the car park is big enough to accommodate at least another 3 cars.
As evening falls, the long driveway is lit.
If you stay for a longer period, it is advisable to close the entrance gate at night.
